I’ve jumped on the fall trend bandwagon of plaid pants and dad sneakers with my recent look. I’ve always had a thing for plaid, but I’ve mainly kept it to flannel until now. I purchased these plaid woven trousers from Forever 21 for about $27. If you’re looking to cop affordable plaid items that mirror the runway looks, I suggest Forever 21, Topman or Zara.
For dad sneakers, you won’t find a shortage of them all ranging in price point. If you don’t plan to drop $895 or more on shoes like the Balenciaga Triple S, look no further than the Fila Disruptors. They have the chunky look that’s all the rage for only $60 and above. I got my Urban Outfitters exclusive Fila Disruptors for only $80. I am pretty much obsessed with them and ordered another pair of Disruptors that should be coming my way very soon.
Are you loving the plaid and dad sneaker trends?
It’s no surprise that I am obsessed with shoes. For the last seven years, I’ve collected a variety of dress shoes, casual shoes, boots, etc., and recently my shoe obsession has turned to sneakers.
I’ve purchased a couple of pairs of shoes, and I plan to feature them as they arrive. My first feature are my Saucony Shadow Original shoes.
I was not familiar with the Saucony brand. I’d seen it on a handful of people before and had seen an outlet store before. However the minute I saw these shoes on the Urban Outfitters website, I had to have them!
The shoes are obviously stylish and comfortable too! I’ve worn them with a number of outfits in the short minute I’ve had them, and they go with pretty much anything.
If you’ve fallen for or are curious about the recent dad sneaker craze, I totally recommend these. They are stylish without having all a crazy color way combination. They are a good pair to start with! What do you think about Saucony?
Last night was a much needed night of dancing and listening to good music with my boo. I was feeling my outfit and needed to take a couple of pictures. My pastel striped button up was a recent purchase from Urban Outfitters, and it was my first outing with it. I paired my new shirt with some light washed Zara skinny jeans and my Adidas Yeezy 500 blush shoes.
I love a good deal when it comes to clothing and shoes, because I don’t think looking your best needs to cost a fortune. A good find doesn’t need to come from a thrift store or off-price clothing store like some of my recent finds. If you’re patient enough, you can purchase designer and name brand finds for a discounted price at their respective store.
I am a big fan of Zara and for the most part, you will find their clothing at retail price. However, at the end of each season they mark down most of the store to make room for the next season. The end of the season sale is how I bagged myself these grey distressed torn jeans for $25, instead of $49.50.
I also got my New Balance 300 shoes at a bargain. I am pretty sure these shoes retailed around $80, but I ended up getting them for about $30 at Urban Outfitters. I had been eyeing them for a while, and was excited to get them for such a deal!
Some times finding a bargain at a retail store takes times, but it can be a win! If retail bargain hunting or thrifting isn’t your style, you can find some stylish, affordable clothing at Target like my green tee ($12). Where do you shop for fashion on a dime?
Guy loves fashion. Guy loves personal care. I’ve recently (4 months ago) became obsessed with face mask. I know, what took me so long, right? Well I decided to do a vlog about me trying out one of the affordable Yes To face mask from Target that I discovered.
Are you a big fan of face masks? Feel free to share your favorites with me.
I’ve been going through a tough time lately and the negativity got the best of me a day ago. I’m looking at what has happened and trying to grow and move on. To help me try to take my mind of things, I took went for a late lunch with my mom at a restaurant called Josephine St. Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of my meal, but know that the pollo verde plate is pretty good. It is a must!
After lunch we took a stroll around the Pearl and the riverwalk to walk off the food. We ended up sitting down in the shade, so we could enjoy the breeze and scenery. I taught my mom how to use my camera, so the photos of me are credited to her.
The weather has been pretty hot, so I’ve stayed away from button ups, but I made an exception with this shirt cause it had holes. I paired my distressed Forever 21 shirt with some black distressed Zara jeans, Vans and a cap. It’s not the most creative outfit, but it went together well. Sometimes simple is better.
I’m going to continue trying to enjoy the little things in life, like food, walks and blogging about outfits.
Lately, I’ve been feeling kind of bummed out. Part of it is me stressing over situations I make up in my head, and the other part is real things going on in my life. Yes, I know what a downer way to start a post. I swear this isn’t a depressing blog posts.
We all go through tough times. It’s really just a part of life, and we all have ways of coping. My way is getting out of my apartment and trying to enjoy the surroundings that San Antonio has to offer.
Now that I’ve armed myself with my new Canon EOS Rebel T7i, I’ve been using it on my outings around town. It’s become very therapeutic. Above our pictures from my visit last night to the Pearl, a brewery turned retail/restaurants/residents/office space hub nearby.
It’s a sweet spot to hangout with family and friends. And is a hot spot for having photo shoots. Planning on doing one their soon!
Anyways, what ways do you clear your mind?
