Last Thursday at 8 am, H&M stores opened for the release of the Alexander Wang x H&M collection. I woke up at 5 am and headed to the Austin location, which is about 45 minutes from where I was located. It was a cold, rainy day, but it was a memorable experience. I met some interesting people while waiting in line for a good two hours, and we got our picture taken by some other bloggers.
Luckily, I was in the first group to go in and shop, we had 15 minutes to pick the items we wanted and try on. I had my eyes set on the Wang sweater, which I was able to get. In my opinion the sweater didn’t disappoint, it’s an interesting piece made out of material that feels like a scuba suit. It may look out of the ordinary to some, but as a fashion enthusiast I enjoy items that make you stand out.
This sweater simply defines the definition of “street wear.” I would recommend this sweater to every man; however, all of the Alexander Wang x H&M collection sold out quickly. The one thing I can recommend is that next time H&M has a guest designer be sure to visit your local H&M collection. The experience in itself is memorable and you get to meet other fashion enthusiast.
Until next time, stay classy!

This was one of the only pieces from the collaboration that I actually liked. And you wear it so well! Is it comfortable?

Yeah, it was the only piece I wanted. Thankfully I got it, because I probably would’ve left with nothing. It’s comfortable, but wearing it out you will get lots of stares. Haha.
