This past Monday, Yeezy and Adidas dropped the latest Yeezy Boost 700 V1 colorway called “Magnet.” So many thoughts came to mind when this colorway was announced back in July. One of those thoughts was that I was more than likely going to pass on it for the teal blue colorway. However, days ahead of its release, it was announced that it would be a Yeezy Supply exclusive. Basically, the shoe was going to be available on their website and only in the U.S. that exclusivity attracted me more to the shoe. So I obviously ended up buying them.
They are definitely a nice pair of shoes. They have the most combination of colors since the Waverunner, which is a plus. The silhouette is the same as the other 700 V1s. The differences between this colorway and the rest is they used a nylon material for the base of the shoe, while all six previous colorway a had a mesh material base. Also, the shoe has less 3m than the other colorways, but that isn’t really a minus for me.
I picked outfit pieces to compliment my Yeezy Boost 700 Magnet sneakers. I paired my Magnets with long grey socks and some orange neon shorts from Urban Outfitters, which matched the orange accents on the sole of the sneakers. I finished the look with a white vintage T-shirt from DKNY, purchased from a local thrift store.
I love a good dad sneakers and these are a definite cop. What are your thoughts on the Yeezy Boost 700 Magnet?
I’ve become an unintentional sneaker head in the last few months and my main obsession has become adidas Yeezy sneakers. The Yeezy 700 sneaker is my favorite silhouette, and the static color way has to be the best one yet.
The Yeezy 700 static just slaps. It’s a clean color way that will go with just about everything. The 3m reflective material literally makes the shoe stand out when flash or any light hits it.
I paired my Yeezy 700 static sneakers with a mostly all black outfit. I started off with some Urban Outfitters black joggers, put on a Forever 21 striped long sleeve tee and a distressed lack denim jacket. The dark toned outfit went well with the gloomy weather and the shoes gave my outfit a pop.
The Yeezy Boost 700 Mauve was hyped for so long and while it didn’t sell out in an hour, it didn’t disappoint. At least not for me.
The shoe has a very unique mixture of black, brown, purple and electric green. The combination sounds a little crazy but it totally works. The earthy shades are perfect for fall and winter.
I paired my Yeezy Boost 700 Mauve shoes with some torn black skinny jeans from Zara and an oversized grey sweater from Target. I’d usually stick to black or white shoes with an outfit like this, but the Yeezys definitely work.
Do I love these shoes? Yes. Do I think people who were turned off by the colors missed out? Absolutely. The 700 silhouette serves the chunky dad shoe realness that’s in right now. While the color is typical, that’s what makes it a must-have!
What are your thoughts on the Yeezy Boost 700 in Mauve?
Let me start off this post by saying The Bloom Tour in Austin was amazing! Leland, Kim Petras and Troye Sivan put on great performances. I also got to meet Kim Petras before the show. She was so nice and down to earth. Thank you to Kim for taking the time to meet up with me and a few other fans.💖
Obviously, I purchased some merch at the show. I got a Kim Petras tee, which I rocked during the concert and a Troye Sivan tee, I wore the day after.
I paired my Bloom Tour tee with tan corduroy dad fit pants from Urban Outfitters and my new Yeezy Boost 700 Wave Runners for a dad chic look.
The concert tees are made for dad chic realness and so are the Wave Runners, my recent Yeezy cop!
Are you loving the dad chic look? Do you plan to go to The Bloom Tour?
Last night was a much needed night of dancing and listening to good music with my boo. I was feeling my outfit and needed to take a couple of pictures. My pastel striped button up was a recent purchase from Urban Outfitters, and it was my first outing with it. I paired my new shirt with some light washed Zara skinny jeans and my Adidas Yeezy 500 blush shoes.
If you’ve made it past the title, then you know this post is about the Yeezy Boost… the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 2.0 to be exact. I always planed on buying a pair of Yeezys. However, I would always end up oversleeping or forgetting when they went on sale. Also, some colors just didn’t appeal to me, but these did.
The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 2.0 were must haves, because I knew the neutral gray shade would make it a staple for just about any street style look. I wasn’t expecting to love them as much as I did. They’re stylish and comfortable, it also doesn’t hurt that their limited release makes them and every pair of Yeezys unique.
Over the weekend, I got to wear my new shoes for some time out on the town. I paired my Yeezys with a similar shade of DKNY joggers and kept with the neutral tones with a navy DKNY bomber and a green tee from Forever 21.
I’m not the biggest fan of Kanye West, but I admire his fashion sense and his collaboration with Adidas on the Yeezys are is just right! If you haven’t grabbed a pair, I highly recommend trying until you do. They will be a great investment to your wardrobe.
